For me, the perfect LinkedIn post has 3 key things: 1) A clear, attention-grabbing but not clickbaity headline 2) Valuable insights, tips, or stories from real experience, ideally with examples 3) Eye-catching visuals like infographics or meme-ish images to make it pop. Bonus points for a bit of personality or humor sprinkled in! I always stop scrolling for posts that both teach me something useful AND entertain me a bit.

I love reading stories from experts in my field and content that helps me do my job better, illustrated with memes or infographics (e.g. on market research)
Stories for sure
For me, the perfect LinkedIn post combines personal experience with actionable insights. I find that posts with clear takeaways or tips—especially related to my field—have a greater impact. Adding a human touch, whether through a short story or relatable experience, keeps it engaging while making it feel authentic.
