What do you wish you could do with your chrome tabs that you can't right now?

Question

I am looking for ideas on how to improve my new chrome extension Tabs Genie I released yesterday on Product Hunt https://www.producthunt.com/posts/tabs-genie.

Right now it sorts tabs in the background automatically at the frequency you desire.

However I'm sure there's a lot more we can do with chrome tabs since they are so integral to our daily productivity and research habits.

What suggestions do you have?

One thing I wish I could do with my Chrome tabs is to group them together based on a specific project or topic. It would make it easier to switch between tasks and stay organized. Right now, I have to manually sort through all my tabs and it can get pretty overwhelming. It would be great if Chrome had a built-in feature for tab grouping.

@kkumarkg so while you are not using it, it closes and then reopens later? What amount of time would it be and how would you know how to time each tab?

@lightnewbie interesting...but chrome remembers cookies and passwords. What would be the benefit of a tab doing that?

Kill a tab and then resurrect it after a fixed time. Releasing memory for now, but not forgetting to bring back the tab later

@drewg2009 i clear cookies and everything on exit. I dont want chrome remembering anything unless i explicitly tell it. FX was so much easier and reliable to do this. So i felt safe and clear. Chrome does sneaky things.. i dont trust it no where as much as FX. So everyday i have to allow cookies for the specific sites (be explicit). I even I can set all this up, but wayy too tedious.. so never gets done. FX sorted this all out and made it easy for me with Session Manager

make them remember my passwords, coookies etc.. even when I say clear in last 24hours. I know I can go in and set exceptions, one by one.. but that is way too tedious so never gets done.  In the old FX days (before they upset their addon developers) there was a superb addon called session manager. Would let me save the session aka all my tabs and cookies and what nots.  and eve set a session i preferred for startup. So each day my workspace was set. I have 3 distinct workspaces.

1. while you are not using it, it closes and then reopens later? - yes

2. What amount of time would it be and how would you know how to time each tab? - I would say user settable interval. eg. Open again in 1 hour / tomorrow, etc
And when it is time to open again, you could show an alert and allow to suppress again?
