What do you use for Payments?

Would love to know what everyone is using for payments -- not all of these are strictly processors (ex. Recurly), but would love to hear what people use. If you use one that's not on the list, call it out in the comments!

Good afternoon, our company trades our products all over the world, we have regular customers. But it is very inconvenient for us to transfer money in the currency with which we cooperate with clients. How can it be optimized and invoicing and accepting funds in the currency in which the payment is made.

How did you solve this problem? I understand that there are services that help with transfers, but they also have their own percentage to pay. I tried to connect different services with payment gateways, but there you can lose up to 5% of funds, as well as the transfer can take a long time.

The reason I ask is because one of the recent ideas I explored on my mailing list was Zebra (stripe(s), everywhere). The simple idea is to get Stripe-quality documentation and APIs on every payment processor, and I think it's an S-tier idea.

Well, looks like Stripe is (unsurprisingly) by far the winner. I think most people would have guessed this!

Stripe, and I've said it to dozens of people before. Stripe's documentation is the gold standard.

@vados That's the one! I think it's only available in the Nordic countries.
I use Stripe and Paypal because they are widely available, easy to set up, and have comparable payment processing rates.

Connecting a payment gateway is not the best option. There are many services which facilitate work between your company and foreign partners or suppliers. I use digital business banking, I can pay for any goods in 200 countries of the world without problems and without huge commissions. Just a couple of clicks on the screen, enter the details and transfer the money. You can get paid from 60 countries around the world, but this figure is constantly growing.

Many companies face this problem, including us. We had problems with transferring money to our partner's foreign account. Because there were bank commissions and on currency conversion we lost up to 7% of the total amount.

I usually use Paypal.

If already through the product market fit phase, I would recommend to start with a payment orchestration (technology platform which can help you connect with all the options), so that you do not get tied to a single payment processor. By this way, you do not get arm twisted by single payment processor and get the benefits of all latest payment methods you wish to provide to your users.

I usually use Pably...Find the latest business news with Investor Money.

In the last few years, I have almost stopped using cash and have completely switched to banking operations. I have been using contact perpay services for a long time and I want to say that I am completely satisfied with the quality of the banking application and the speed of transferring funds. In addition, you can get cashback on purchases in their application.
