I believe Musk changed Twitter's logo to create a fresh, disruptive visual identity that aligns with his ambitious plans for the platform, sparking conversations and ensuring Twitter's presence remains top-of-mind in the rapidly evolving social media landscape.

Rebrand is always a part of bigger strategy. While Twitter was concidered social media, X.com will be considered the "everything app". Simillar to what Zuck did with Facebook's change into Meta (from social media into metaverse). The sketchy part is timing. These founders are basically starting building brand early, which makes sense from that perspective, but as they dont deliver instantly, it just leaves people confused (again, Meta I believe will be great, but at the moment, people still have SAME experience as per Facebook time, therefore, its not necessarily good)
