I just want to know what the community thinks about micro-interaction in mobile app design. Could it be the main reason you guys are using the app?

Micro interactions are never the reason why one would use the app. It will come down to three 1. Does the app make me money 2. Does the app save me time ? 3. Does the app entertain me. Unless you address one of these three, Micro interactions alone will not win you many users.
