What are your considerations when launching a blog?

Have never launched a blog before, but my consideration would be SEO mainly, with some Google ads at first (SEO takes time). But the most important part of organic growth when you start out would probably be partnerships. Look for similar blogs (or at least blogs where the audiences overlap) that are a similar size to you and collaborate (guest posts or shoutouts). This not only helps your audiences find each other, but also helps build up backlinks.

1. Speak with the SEO guys before speaking with the web designers. That is a key to success most overlook. 2. The web is full of blogs. Make yours extremely useful so it can stand out.
