What are ways to "growth hack" impressions for a launch video on Twitter?

Assuming your owned account currently has limited reach, should you (A) sponsor influencers to retweet / comment, or (B) trust that as long as the content is of a certain quality, it will go viral naturally by itself? I am geared to thinking that (A) sponsorship is necessary, but am all open to be proven wrong. Thanks!
