There are different strategies you can use for that, most importantly: 1. Pay attention to your product users 2. Take their decision into consideration 3. Don't bore them with unnecessary features 4. Give them the support they need and be interested in truly helping them. If you give them a good experience they can't get elsewhere, they will choose you over time. I am a product user as well as a marketer, and 80% of the time people never forget how you make them feel.

Honestly, just listen to the needs of your users. Often, they'll blatantly tell you want they need from you in order to keep them on your platform. You just have to listen and deliver and show them that you truly care about their input.
