I'm looking for creative, effective SaaS marketing tactics that can be executed by a small team. We have a large network built from a different software company and want to find innovative ways to leverage those connections to drive user growth for our new SaaS. Any strategies or ideas that have worked well for solo marketers or small teams would be greatly appreciated!

For us, getting existing users to post a shoutout about us on social media worked really well. Also, sponsoring a newsletter that your target audience is reading - that can bring users on a low CPU.

We've found success with a few SaaS marketing tactics as a small team: 1) Encouraging happy customers to post shoutouts about us on social - the social proof really helps attract new signups. 2) Sponsoring newsletters that our target audience reads - it's an effective way to get in front of the right people without a huge budget. 3) Actively participating in online communities related to our niche - it builds awareness and trust. Hope this gives you some ideas to try!

Absolutely! Guest posting on relevant blogs has been huge for us in terms of getting exposure and SEO juice. We find blogs that our target customer reads, reach out with a personalized pitch, and offer to write a high-quality, valuable post for their audience with a link back to our site in the author bio. It's a win-win - free content for them, qualified traffic for us. We also get great results from being active in niche communities online where we can organically mention our product when relevant. It takes consistent effort but the ROI is there if you stick with it!

Definitely find where your target audience hangs out online and get in front of them there. Sponsoring relevant newsletters, podcasts, or YouTube channels can work well if you pick the right ones. Also incentivizing word-of-mouth referrals from happy customers is huge - maybe give them a special discount code to share or enter them into a contest for referring new users. It takes effort but that personal recommendation goes a long way!
