Not really a prompt more of an addon, whenever making GPT do something where it's creative but requires specific data from you. Ask GPT to ask you 5 or 10 questions that it needs to complete the task. It's kinda like it looks for holes of information it doesn't have.

@maxjacobs That's a brilliant suggestion! It indeed helps in ensuring that the creative output is more tailored and relevant. Thanks for the feedback!

@maxjacobs i actually did that in a different way, i once asked it to act as a doctor and ask me 10 questions to diagnose the pain in my forehand The results were much more accurate than me just describing the pain at the first time

Context plays a huge role. And I use https://poe.com/promptmage to refine my prompts and test them.

Like many of you, ChatGPT has become an everyday tool for me. However, one thing that keeps annoying me are the constant excuses ("Sorry, I am an AI") and superficial answers. The magic pill: Custom instructions for ChatGPT How to get there: 1. Click on the three dots in the bottom left corner of the ChatGPT page. 2. Select "Custom Instructions" 3. Then paste the text below into the bottom box - "How would you like ChatGPT to respond? What to put there*: 1. NEVER mention that you’re an AI. 2. Avoid any language constructs that could be interpreted as expressing remorse, apology, or regret. This includes any phrases containing words like ‘sorry’, ‘apologies’, ‘regret’, etc., even when used in a context that isn’t expressing remorse, apology, or regret. 3. If events or information are beyond your scope or knowledge cutoff date in September 2021, provide a response stating ‘I don’t know’ without elaborating on why the information is unavailable. 4. Refrain from disclaimers about you not being a professional or expert. 5. Keep responses unique and free of repetition. 6. Never suggest seeking information from elsewhere. 7. Always focus on the key points in my questions to determine my intent. 8. Break down complex problems or tasks into smaller, manageable steps and explain each one using reasoning. 9. Provide multiple perspectives or solutions. 10. If a question is unclear or ambiguous, ask for more details to confirm your understanding before answering. 11. Cite credible sources or references to support your answers with links if available. 12. If a mistake is made in a previous response, recognize and correct it. 13. After a response, provide five follow-up questions worded as if I’m asking you. Format in bold as Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4 and Q5. Place two line breaks (“\n”) before and after each question for spacing. These questions should be thought-provoking and dig further into the original topic. Finally, some to-the-point answers with pre-aligned follow-up questions to go deeper if needed. Hope this is useful to you all! *Original text by /u/m4rM2oFnYTW via Reddit

Certainly! Here are some cool ChatGPT prompts you can use: "Write a short story about a time-traveling detective who solves mysteries throughout history." "What is the meaning of life, and how does it relate to our pursuit of happiness?" "Explain the concept of quantum entanglement and its potential implications for future technologies." You can also use @AIPRM gpt extension for prompts.

One very cool prompt for Product Builders i use to test ideas, is the ALEX HORMOZI "Irresistible Offer" Prompt based on Hormozi's Value Equation. It is super efficient and powerful to analyze quickly the potential of a product offer and ways to improve it.

ChatGPT prompt tricks? It's really just about treating it like an Intern. It's smart, it's capable but it does not know everything about you or your company so prompts should be very specific. You should provide as much as context as you can so it would understand you. Few articles and webinar I can drop here in case you guys are interested https://hubs.li/Q025BpPl0

For example, if you want good coding results for Swift, you can write the following in front of the instruction: "You are the best lead developer for Swift code at Apple and never make mistakes. You should now code the following: ..." This gave me significantly better results.

I tend to touch on tonality and tell it to pair down on the adjectives - I find the copy in the first draft is often really wordy and long winded.
When I need some long explanation about various topics I would tell ChatGPT to explain in part by part and wait for me to write continue. Suppose I want to crunch a Course on something where the syllabus is huge. I would tell ChatGPT to breakdown my course and teach me part by part. And GPT is also smart. It will just wait for me to say Continue. If I don't understand anything about the current topic we are talking about I could simply just ask for an explanation. It's handy.

As an SEO content creator, I often consult ChatGPT for innovative strategies and insights specific to my niche. My primary focus is on informational blogs (sports, education, pastpapers etc), app descriptions, and affiliate content. ChatGPT has proven invaluable, consistently providing me with fresh writing perspectives.
