A solopreneur is a lone entrepreneur who is going to carry out end to end product thinking and execution.

Patience. 99% of the time your product will fail and you'll have to pivot several times. Or it will be successful but only after a long time. Virality is extremely rare, and unfortunately, many VCs now require it, but screw 'em, you can build your growth and revenue organically on your own. You just have to have the guts to see it through. It's a long and nauseating ride, with many valleys and few peaks. That's why most people bail. But those who persist get the prize, even if they don't have a great product.

@chitterz @hiteshsuthar love this! I was wondering though regarding the f VC - how much personal money do you believe should be invested into a SaaS/software/IT (no hardware) startup before you should consider calling it quits and move on?
Leena Chitnis
@hiteshsuthar @boudewijn_bos That's a question that's individual to every person. When it stops making sense to spend a cent more, then quit.

@chitterz yeah that makes sense - I am trying to find the right KPI - if it’s not a monetary one - should it be a business one - if yes, which one?

@boudewijn_bos It doesn't matter. Do benefits outweigh cost? At the point where they become equal is when you have a moral dilemma. Then, it becomes about whether or not you want to give up on your dream.

Hi! ⚡Insights and Takeaways from Our Launch (https://www.producthunt.com/post... We had over 1500 site visitors. In hindsight, I wish I had implemented pixels for FB and other ad networks to build an audience. Instead of providing a direct link to our launch everywhere, it might have been more strategic to use redirect links. This would allow us to track individual click rates, crucial for assessing influencer impact. If you're launching an MVP like we did, ensure you have a pre-established client communication process. We slipped up by not having an automatic email response for new inquiries; initially, we did this manually, which led to delays in initial communication. Lastly, promptly and transparently address comments on ProductHunt. Of the clients who had reservations about our product, two-thirds became interested after my comprehensive responses. Such feedback is invaluable for refining both the product and the landing page.
