We originally set out the change the way product teams design and develop software. The idea was to build a platform that would 1) generate high-fidelity web prototypes from Figma designs and 2) ultimately generate full-stack code from these prototypes. We launched in October of 2022 and decided to pivot in June 2023. Not only was our product way too complex, but Figma itself was adding a lot of prototyping and "design to code" features. We noticed that quite some users weren't building prototypes with our platform ... but custom web forms (surveys, onboarding forms, feedback forms). To us that was a completely insane use case! As the amount of users building this use case grew we couldn't ignore it much longer, and decided to rebuild our platform that enables Figma users to design & publish web forms from custom designs. We're (re)launching this new product on the 27th: https://www.producthunt.com/products/weavely Have you pivoted before? Doubting when to pivot? Just shoot your question, I'm open to answering all of them! PS: you can read the full story here: https://medium.com/@fmyter/behind-the-scenes-of-a-pivoting-start-up-d8d52e937805
