The plan needs to start with the phrase " what do we want to achieve with this launch?"
If the answer is "be #1 product of the day" then keep talking and come up with a goal that is relevant and meaningful.
Examples:
1. Grow organic traffic by x%
2. Validate our value proposition
3. Get feedback on features X.Y,Z
4. Increase MRR to X USD/month
5. other???

@goff_jira hi ! Being top product of the day is not something you influence. It depends on so many things, including what other products are launching the same day. What you can do is do your best, present your product is a way that is attractive to people so that they can support you. I hope this helps somehow :)
