Which path do you choose?

bootstrapping always comes first, and then you need to choose what is more important - independence or growth speed.

Started with bootstrapping for the first 2 years to keep things lean and maintain control. Now considering VC funding to accelerate growth, but want to be selective and maintain independence as much as possible. Curious what others' experiences have been taking on investors after bootstrapping initially - pros and cons?

Bootstrapping first to get things off the ground and validate the idea for sure. Once you've got some traction, VC funding can accelerate growth if that aligns with your vision. But don't lose sight of profitability and control. Ultimately depends on your goals and market.
