Looking forward to hearing your story. Personally I view it as a journey. The beginning of anything can be intimidating or make you feel out of place but if you continue to make the effort to improve then you will make gains to reach a point of comfort. Then once you reach comfort, a new challenge arises and you repeat the process

That to me already shows that you have the drive and persistence to carry a project. Imposter syndrome comes largely from note being able to accept your achievements as your own.
