To build complex SaaS tools or simple B2C apps, why?

I question this gradually more by day. Imagine more complex products with months of development in the background; especially in this super dynamic digital market, dedicating such considerable resources to more sophisticated products doesn't really make sense to me. How are smaller players supposed to keep up with the tech giants, or what are they supposed to do when AI replaces their product? Meanwhile a team could push countless smaller apps to the market within a similar period, and just see what works and what doesn't.

I completely understand your concerns. Sometimes, the simplest solutions are the best ones, and it's true that smaller players might have a harder time keeping up with tech giants. However, I think that the key to success is not necessarily to create the most sophisticated product, but rather to create a Simple product that solves a problem and meets the needs of your users. Smaller players can focus on a niche market or a specific problem and offer a solution that is simple, efficient, and user-friendly. It's also important to keep experimenting and iterating, and to be open to feedback from users.
