To all the Makers - I have a question..

I personally have found marketing to be tricky, hard and costly.
Platforms like product hunt do help but once the launch is over, it requires a decent amount of time, money and energy to keep the momentum going.
What are the top 2 things you find the toughest when it comes to marketing your launch?

It is common for most startups and new products, as well as for established companies and popular products in their early stages, to acquire users gradually. Many YC founders have personally acquired their users one by one.

@brandon_cccc Thanks for sharing your perspective!
I often wonder though as to why is it a constant effort. As in, I got great traction when I launched on product hunt but after that unless I spend money (give it not the google, Facebook Gods) I find it hard to sustain that traction. This part of sustaining momentum once you have created traction without having to burn is what I find the most challenging
There has to be a better solution ?
Ah, the marketing maze - where budgets disappear faster than code errors! Juggling algorithms and ad spend can feel like herding cats in a room full of laser pointers. What's your toughest marketing puzzle to crack?

@thestarkster lol I have seen marketing turn people into writers but looks like they also turn people into poets ;)
