The quickest way to PMF in my experience is to: 1. Talk to many users in a market you want to address 2. Identify a massive pain point common to a subset of those users 3. Prototype a minimum solution and test that it meets the needs of this subset and they're willing to pay for it 4. Build validated solution and test again Many builders go straight to (4) with their own ideas without user research, segmentation and prototyping. This makes it so much longer to reach PMF but its understandable because the user research process tedious and painful.
