The launch on PH isn't worth it, is it?

I have launched on PH, and I didn't get any new user. It was just time consuming without any result. Now I understand that launching on PH has meaning if you already have your active loyal community. Your community comes to PH, upvotes you and then you go up on the leaderboard and you acquire new visitors, but if you have no community, your product will be invisible. Lets calculate some metrics: Top 3 product of the day can get around 3k new visitors. To get product of the day you should work to grow your community around 2 hours each day for 2 months. Assume you (or your marketing manager) has salary around $4k per months. 8 hours is a work day. So it will cost you: 2/8*2*4k=$2k. So each visitor costs you 2k/3k= $660. But if you use google ads each visitor will cost you around $100. So it means google ads 6x times cheaper than PH. In conclusion, launch on PH isn't worth it. What is your opinion?
