The iPad version lacks proper margin and padding

This is my post for the beta app, and here are some things I think the team might like to take a look into: Home page: 1. Every item is in the list view, which is stretched out and looks weird cause the image is over-stretched, and UI elements are far apart. * I guess providing a grid view would solve some issues here * If listview is ProductHunt's preferred way of showcasing each hunt, I suggest revamping the list layout and using the extra screen real-estate to showcase more images 2. A quick preview of top comments on each product under each list item might provide some context to how people have perceived the hunt. 3. Tapping the share button shows the item on another screen, whereas using my magic trackpad to tap on it shows the share sheet. * I guess improving the touch area around the button would solve this issue. 4. Product images are cropped and zoomed, making them look low-res and unappealing. * I suggest cascading images under a hunt to provide minor visual context and improve app use 5. Each hunt includes the product name, logo, category, and title. Yet, the visual hierarchy seems a bit off, and iPads can easily provide enough screen to show more information in a row. 6. Each hunt lacks some essential information: * Creator * Date * Website button Navigation Pane: There are currently six navigation items, and each looks unique with beautiful icons. Here are my suggestions for improving the navigation: 1. The Home button could showcase the number of new hunts in the specified timeline. For example, a number like (30) near the Home button specifies 30 new hunts in the new week. 2. Sectionizing each main navigation with sub-items to provide easier access to underlaying items. For example, sectionizing the Discover button with sub-items like Yesterday’s products or last month’s products. * I suggest doing the same thing for popular topics in the discover section as well 3. The News section can show two sub-items, Discussions and Stories, to make navigation easier. 4. The Post button isn't (naturally) a navigation button, and I suggest creating a toolbar for a more simplified design, especially since iPadOS 16 just announced a customizable toolbar for iPad apps. 5. The Profile button pops up a modal window rather than a detailed screen on the right side. This is visually unappealing and breaks the navigation UX. I hope these tips were helpful.
