A nice way is to leverage the discussion area of the product hunt. You ask questions here that help validate your product assumption. It is also a good way to warm your account before a launch.

@fabian_maume That's a good avenue too. Could you share some example discussion questions or ways you describe the product to validate the assumptions? I've tried this before and they don't usually get a lot of engagement.

@fabian_maume We would test value props and messaging via organic content. So it's not so much about the actual product but closer to a qual research for consumer insights.

@justin_govy How do you use TikTok for this use case?

I'm all for building a minimum viable product and getting it in front of real users. Surveys and interviews can be helpful too. Quick, iterative testing - that's the way to go.

@jayphelpsme The sooner it's in front of users, the better! We're going to send out a survey but any thoughts on how to get that list of people to send it to?

Certainly! Here are some additional free channels and methods for initial testing and gathering feedback for your upcoming product launch: Social media platforms: Engage with your target audience on platforms like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram. Share updates about your product and encourage users to provide feedback through comments or direct messages. Online forums and communities: Participate in relevant forums and communities where your potential customers gather. Start discussions, share your product updates, and ask for feedback from the community members. Beta testing programs: Create a beta testing program where interested users can sign up to try your product before the official launch. This allows you to gather real-world feedback and make improvements based on user experiences. Email newsletters: Utilize your existing email subscriber list to announce your product's next iteration. Encourage recipients to share their feedback and suggestions by replying to the email or filling out a survey. Product-focused subreddits: Engage with Reddit communities that align with your product's niche. Share updates, seek feedback, and participate in discussions to gather insights from Reddit users. Don't forget to leverage AI tools like Checkmyidea-ia and Validatorai to streamline the feedback-gathering process. Checkmyidea-ia can help evaluate your product concept, while Validatorai automates customer feedback analysis. By utilizing these free channels, methods, and AI tools, you can gather valuable feedback to refine your product before the launch. Good luck with your next iteration!
