Building in public has been an important part of my journey since I moved to Canada 8 months ago. At that time, I was starting from scratch, with no money in my pocket, after my career in Turkey was jeopardized due to a tweet I made challenging the dictatorship. I quickly realized that having a community, even a small one, is crucial in today's world. So I decided to create, learn, and share my experiences transparently. Building in public has helped me establish a supportive network that has been very helpful during these challenging times. I'm building an AI internships platform and a comprehensive daily AI newsletter. Being transparent about my journey has allowed me to connect with like-minded individuals and learn from their insights and experiences. My main goal is to foster a sense of belonging and mutual support within my community. I hope to inspire others by showing them that it's possible to build a new life from scratch with determination, hard work, and a focus on innovation in AI and marketing. I also want to learn from those who have embarked on similar journeys, so I can grow personally and professionally.
