Two questions related to Streak ranking on Product Hunt:
1- Why does the streak ranking in Product Hunt exist? What is it for?
2- I have noticed several times that it does not count my visit. Suddenly, I see that my number is 0 again and I am sure I visited the site the day before. Is this buggy, or am I missing something?

It only counts the consecutive days that you’ve upvoted a product :) I am not sure what purpose it serves but I see it as a fun little way they’ve gamified participation in the community. And I like how for the first 30 days there’s a different emoji everyday for the streak 😀

Ah, the mysterious streak ranking on Product Hunt - like a tech-savvy game of hide and seek! It's there to add a fun competitive edge, but sometimes it plays a disappearing act on our visits. Maybe it's camera shy! 🧐
