Startup ideas: Let the readers resell their ebooks

Generating ideas is something I am good at, not so much in pursuing. Well, I guess all of us have pretty much the same problem. So instead of letting ideas die down I decided to document every single idea on Idea ramen blog. The latest: Create a ebook marketplace where the journey of an ebook does not ends after a first purchase. Question is simple: Why can't I resell my ebook? Reasoning: If I could resell the ebooks I purchase, I would read more, more people would read. And if every resale brings royalty back to the author, more people will write and make a better living.
