Started making content in Instagram but not getting followers yet, any advice please?

I have a problem since I’ve been doing marketing in the past week on Instagram but I didn’t gain any followers while promoting my product, can you guys help me in showing what worked for you to gain customers? I’ve tried putting relevant hashtags to the posts and commenting on other people’s posts to reach a bigger audience. Thanks for your answers in advance.
