Should Tik Tok be used as an official communication channel for your product?

Short videos are trending now and still be popular in the next few years. So besides Websites, Instagram, Facebook, and Youtube, should we be concern about Tik Tok?

I've seen then very effectively used as a sort of knowledgebase. Where they answer questions that people have in short video form.

It definitely can be a useful channel, though it does depend on your ideal customer profile. If you're targeting B2B brands, especially in more traditional industries like Finance, etc, I don't feel like it would worthwhile adding, however if you're targeting, especially the younger demographic, then of course.

@stevenbirchall yeah, a part of our target customer use Tiktok. But i’ve just worry about that cuz recently, some states in US won’t allow for Tiktok https://www.bbc.com/news/busines...

I think it depends on your product. If it's more consumer focused rather than B2B focused, and can be easily summarized in a video less than a minute, with the ability to generate varied content, then it's perfect for tiktok.

@huy_xuan There might be more of that happening in the future, but a few states is nothing compared to its userbase.

I believe it's the easiest way of going viral. Although not every product is suitable for TikTok.
