@ikiok Recently, I became curious because there are some makers who don't do that.

@elly_cho well maybe they do want to hide from some spam activity? or too shy?! :)

@elly_cho @ikiok To be fair, I struggle a bit as well. (Speaking for the introverts out there!) I guess this also depends on one's personality and the platform that you are trying to communicate with your community. Like in LinkedIn and PH, these are platforms that need a lot of accountability and connectivity between your work and your company so sharing your profile makes more sense... I tend to use an avatar and hind my true name and face on Twitter tho since it is let's about the company/ the project that you work on but more on you.

providing access to their bios, product makers can establish a personal connection with their users, enabling a sense of familiarity and creating a community around the product, which can lead to increased loyalty and engagement.

Making product makers' bios public fosters transparency, builds trust, and enables users to connect with the creators behind the products they love.

Sharing product makers' bios allows users to gain insight into their backgrounds, expertise, and motivations, creating a transparent relationship between the makers and the users.
