    hey - I've been posting reels pretty religiously on Instagram and Facebook, but not with me physically in them. They're videos I create with text and background, but they don't feature anyone in them. Wondering if you think I'll get more reach and engagement if I start putting myself in the videos little by little. Wondering if anyone has tested both types of videos to see which performs best?

    From my experience, videos where there isn't someone's face don't get nearly as much engagement unless it's like, a tutorial or something (which don't work too well on short-form video platforms). When people see your face they feel a bit more emotionally connected to it, and won't feel as though they are being advertised to as much. And if you aren't posting those reels to TikTok as well, you're missing out on a lot of free reach :)
