Hey awesome PH folks ๐Ÿฑ I'm leading the landing page redesign and looking for inputs. So far, our landing **looks** beautiful (lemon.io) ๐Ÿ˜ I really like the design and it stands out. Illustrations there is just one-love-forever. But... I see there are a lot of things that make me doubt it. Our conversion is a bit below of I would expect for the 2-sides marketplace. So PMM and the data nerd inside me switch the alarm on ๐Ÿšจ ๐Ÿšจ ๐Ÿšจ ๐Ÿšจ I'm looking for honest feedback from the startup community on: - copy - design - trust elements thanks for your honest opinions!

P.S.: as a payback, feel free to leave your landing page in the comments and I will comment on it from my PMM point of view โค๏ธ

@lisadziuba if you consider adding a Whats New feed section on your website you can use Leanbe. Also, we can help with idea/feedback collection, validation, and prioritization and not only. P.S. Leanbe is live today on PH you can give it a try and if you like the idea support us <3 Thank you!
Boris Atayan
@lisadziuba Well, our main advantage is feature prioritization which we think should not be made based on biased opinions of the product manager but on data. The rest of the features we provide like idea-collection, roadmaps, and announcements are necessary for the prioritization algorithm to work.

@boris_atayan > Whats New feed section on your website you can use Leanbe. It is like product updates? How is it different from having a Trello board where users can add ideas or User Voice? ๐Ÿค”

I absolutely LOVE the tongue-in-cheek style, but at the same time it maybe is a little too much? Like why do I have to "prostrate" myself to a "benevolent" account manager for a miraculous match? This language would work very well for, e.g. TikTok, but for a landing page I might expect the balance to shift a bit more towards "professionalism". An additional point: especially as a startup founder myself, I don't trust offers and contacts that seem too good to be true, because they often are. Because you describe the process in such a high level, I'm wondering "where is the catch"? Maybe make more prominent what your prices are / what's in it for you? If you have time, I'ld love some comments on telemetrydeck.com :)

@breakthesystem > I absolutely LOVE the tongue-in-cheek style, but at the same time it maybe is a little too much? Thanks! It's, indeed, very creative language that suits the branding :) Good point about being "too much" in some occasions. > "professionalism". Would it actually mean being more "practical"? Or what does "professionalism" mean for you? Very curious here thinking ๐Ÿค”

@breakthesystem > Maybe make more prominent what your prices are / what's in it for you? Great point! Prices are hidden down below the page, so probably they are not really visible.

@breakthesystem Feedback on telemetrydeck.com : 1. Nice clean design, makes me trust you. 2. The space in the Above the Fold (https://www.optimizely.com/optim...) can be used more wisely: add more social trust there. 3. Graphs are always better when they go up (that's the comment about your hero image). 4. "Read the docs" CTA is weird, is this really key action? 5. How is your navigation performing? Check on Hotjar heatmaps how people click in navigation, for me it looks like to many potions there.

@breakthesystem 6. Section "Your users will love you" is too long, check with Scroll depth, mouth movements, and clicks there, if people do engage with that section. 7. Same comments about all the sections there. For me, they are too long, looks more like part of dev documentation. 8. Section "We're reaching orbital velocity" is awesome as it shows your functional benefits. However, I feel that the image in that section is meaningless ๐Ÿค”

@breakthesystem 9. I would add more CTA and dive deep into - conversions on the CTAs - conversations down the funnel - time on page, bounce rate, heatmaps In general, very nicely-done page. Remember, I'm PMM lead, not your audience :)

We're going through a similar exercise on our end at the moment and landing pages are top of mind! I've always loved lemon.io's branding. The design assets are unique and memorable and it feels more like a consumer brand than an enterprise dev matching service. But I think the copy focuses too heavily on selling the brand instead of selling the product. A few other commenters mentioned it's loooong for a landing page and I agree. Being here makes me feel like I have to work (read, scroll, re-read, scroll, scroll) to figure out: -what are you actually selling me? -what makes this actually different/better than other services like this? -what's it actually going to cost me? There's a lot of emphasis on the problem, but not enough clarity on the solution.

Love it @lisadziuba, my only comment is that it might be too long. I always associate long landing pages with scamy ClickFunnels websites, but maybe that's just me ๐Ÿ™„

It's a bit too long, but as a designer myself, I LOVE YOUR DESIGN! XD Yours is so much better than mine: www.dotbrand.design Welcome any suggestions from your point of view though!

I have some comments, but in an image. Do you have a general support email I can send it to? Not spamming you; I'm an agency owner, so I used a mockup and added comments on it directly. :) Wonderful (and genuine) marketing, idea, by the way. ๐Ÿ˜‰

@sarahkuva wow! thanks for making comments via image format! You can email them to me at l.dziuba@lemon.io

@lisadziuba sent! โœ… I also provided some feedback on what looks great, from my point of view. You can then consider reinforcing and duplicating effective elements, as well as adjusting the design, conversion, and copy for improvement. :)

I'd say it looks nice, but a bit too long. Maybe try mooving some sections to other tabs

I had a look and personally I like the graphics and the copy used a lot. I only noticed a couple of things that made me feel a little disoriented: 1 - Are the reviews true,? Are there any other reviews? Where can I see them? I did a test on our site a month ago, putting a section on the home page with a few real reviews and a button that allows you to see them directly on Trustpilot and Capterra (I set the link to open a new tab, so the user doesn't leave the site). The result was 57% more conversions after 15 days. Reviews are crucial and if they are real and you have a way of proving it, you will get great benefits. If the person who leaves the review is also a well-known person or belongs to an important company this makes a difference. 2 - I haven't seen any customers, do you have any? This is another element that in some cases has convinced me to buy a product or service. In those cases they were companies or people I knew and considered to be of high value. Last thing, I don't know if it is intentional, but I noticed that when I scroll down the header disappears and if I scroll up it reappears. Obviously this is not serious, but I think that the fixed header allows the CTA to be seen right away even if it is not present in the landing page. I hope these tips will help you :) for the rest, many compliments!

@neder_ghadhab Thanks for such deep feedback! > 1 - Are the reviews true,? Are there any other reviews? Where can I see them? All are real, but probably they do not look like that because of their creative representation of them :) Your example with the CTA increase is inspiring ๐Ÿ˜ฎ > 2 - I haven't seen any customers, do you have any? Yes, we do have a lot of customers but we didn't show their logos ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ

Congratulations on launching the landing page @lisadzuiba Quick comments - design: quite kitschy for a dev marketplace. A little hard on the eyes when concentrating to read the content. specifics 1. the animal metaphors on the kind of developers is a little overdone 2. Would have loved to see actual photos of your customers with names - Copy: A little too verbose for a fantastic offering. Good thing is getting to the 48-hr guarantees straight off. Some points 1. Why a review from an anonymous customer? Would love your comments for, hypertestDOTco (hypertest.co)

I really like it Lisa. As a dev it looks appealing. Looking at a lighthouse report there a few things you could do technically to speed it up. You have a time to interactive of 5.6 and speed index of 3.3. Not fantastic but probably good enough.

Love the playful copy and images - so creative. Only points I'd make would be: - I'd possibly have a look at the flow between them and explore the possibility of putting in some transitions. - I'm also not sure about the mix of photos and icons, I'd typically try not to mix the two - It's a little long, perhaps try and move some of the content to other pages or shrink the images/text size a bit as otherwise you're scrolling for a while.

Love the aesthetics! The humor kept me scrolling as well. Two minor nit-picky suggestions: - "I contacted CodeMentor at the same time. Lemon found a developer faster" is a great testimonial. But would be nice if it included a mention on quality. Speed doesn't always equate to quality. - Not a huge fan of the circle with text inside (on the animal section) Overall though I think the site looks amazing and will keep your business in mind for future projects! Thanks for sharing!

I think any social proof (testimonials, past clients, partners) could be useful on the landing page. Also is it only available in dark mode?
