Remote/asynchronous workers: how do you handle the amount of work “noise” across platforms?

I love that we can now work from wherever we want, whenever we want, but let’s face it: there is so. much. noise. Or is it just me?? Do you feel like the shift from working in an office increased or decreased work noise? And how do you handle it? Have you managed to put some boundaries in place or does your work have some rules? Or do you use any tools to manage the overload? As someone who works at an early-stage startup (in the WorkTech space), I both feel the grind and am fascinated by this all. Would love to hear your thoughts - and any life hacks you’ve found?

One great way to set boundaries is book some focus time on your calendar which means no meetings and focus status on slack with notifications paused.
