I recently faced an interesting challenge in a job interview with a major MNC that has over 10,000 employees globally. Despite having a strong portfolio of projects, including developing PDFGPT.io which reached 110k users globally, my freelancing experience was seen as a disadvantage compared to traditional corporate roles. This was particularly surprising given the company’s emphasis on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).
In their job description, they state:
