Hey! I'm deep in the solopreneur journey, currently working on my project feedrika.com, a pay-as-you-go news service API. Here are some key lessons I've learned so far, that maybe will help other builders like me. Not all products are created equal. Just because there's a need doesn't mean people will pay for your solution. My unique selling point with Feedrika is no subscription, just buy credits as needed. Is it enough? Time will tell. I've also learned not to get too attached. If your project isn’t gaining traction, it might be time to move on. Emotional attachment can blind you to market realities. Market demand is key. Instead of building the next big thing, consider selling tools or templates that help others build. It’s like selling shovels during a gold rush, true, but it's not bad behavior. Meet the market where it is. Lastly, probably the most important point, adapt and move on. If something isn’t working, don’t be afraid to pivot or drop it altogether. You’re a builder, not someone who moves into every house built. You sell the houses. Keep grinding and good luck! 🚀
