Re-intro after a couple years away

Is this appropriate? Can I re-intro myself? Hope so. I'm Derek. I was here before, got discouraged, changed focus, it paid off, now I'll try again. I created an animation programming language that nobody is interested in. For the last couple years I'm using it to great success on my gif website. Details in profile. I've been coding professionally since about 1992. I used to like doing solo-projects but I'm just tired of that now since being alone 24/7 is draining. My hope is to build a user base that I can interact with. To summarize: I've been away for a while, I'm back with social proof that people like using my tech, and I want to build a user community with tools I've already created.
