Hi, hi. VC, founder, and advisor here. Built & reviewed 100s of pitch decks and it's surprising to see how many startups get it wrong. So, I created a guided template that focuses on must-have slides, content placement, and avoiding common mistakes, with detailed commentary. If you're interested, let me know and we can discuss a fair way to share it. Cheers!

Sure let's see it. Not rocket science tho. 1. problem, 2. solution 3. biz model, 4. Competition 5. Founder team. 6. Fundraising

Thanks @eonpilot. My 2 cents:
- Traction or past milestone achievement (1-2 slides) is missing and a must, unless there's nothing to be said b/c it's too early
- Market size (1 slide) is missing and a must
- Roadmap (1 slide) is somewhat optional but a great opportunity to show that you know exactly what needs to happen next
- For solution, typically need > 1 slide explaining the product. Awesome if you can get it done on just 1 slide. Super annoying though if you spend 3-5 mins on the deck and don't get enough context to know what the startup is doing
@zendog Traction is king. Agreed. Put that in the intro or outro IMO. Or even drop it, they probably already know you got 1000users last week and MRR is booming. that's why you're in a meeting pitching. The 6 slides I mentioned are the common denominator that the best vcs will ask for. Beyond that and your loosing focus. Or put it in the appendix. Each case is diff of course. But a general startup can do well with that starterpack IMO
@eonpilot you're right, traction is king. if you have it, all you need is one slide with a hockey stick. for all other startups, there's more to it. ex: missing to tell folks that you're in a large market (and have done your homework on market sizing) is a miss, esp. when talking to tier 1 VCs that raised mega funds and just cant play in small markets

@uma_venugopal Great hearing from you. You can find the thing at https://www.zendoglabs.com/templ.... It's already off ~90% as an early bird offer, but I'm throwing in another 25% (PH25). Fair?
