Even though Burndown Charts are only used in Scrum - which ones do you prefer?

Recently, I discovered a fantastic Jira plugin for this. It’s called Focus Flow, and it offers a timeline-based heatmap view to clearly and effectively visualize team efforts.

Burndown charts are actually used in Agile methodologies, not only in Scrum. And burndown chart adoption isn't even required in Scrum. The 2020 Scrum Guide doesn't offer any guidance on it.
Roadmap, burndown, and gantt serve different purposes: roadmaps are used for high-level planning, burndown to manage work within a sprint, and gannt are suited for detailed project planning for complex projects in which there are many dependencies. And if I'm not wrong, gantt charts are mainly used in waterfall project management, they are not really suited for those working with agile methodologies.
So I have no preferences, every one is suited for a specific purpose.

As a tech enthusiast with diverse industry experience, I appreciate the versatility of project management tools. Whether it's a roadmap for strategic planning, a burndown chart for Agile sprints, or a Gantt chart for detailed timelines, each has its unique strengths. Ultimately, the best choice depends on the project's specific needs and team dynamics. What's your go-to for keeping things on track?
Hey Marianna. This is a great question. We have built a tool which uses AI to automate project management. We are in closed beta now, so feel free to send over a contact form if you are interested in trying it out https://willy.team/.
