Productivity tips for 2 hour driving commute

As an IT SAP consultant, I sometimes drive to client offices. My current client is 2 hours away. I usually listen to technology podcasts, which I find interesting. What do you do to be productive? e.g. - Record a podcast - Voice-note ideas - Make phone-calls - Listen to audio books - Listen to music (to relax) - Other?

Podcast are always a great idea! Sometimes I do journaling and reflections, including work reflections:)

Two hours provide plenty of time if you can stay focused and work during your commute! It's enough time to write a lengthy post or code/debug a significant feature. Recording a podcast or notes might be challenging due to the noise, though! :)

@serge_neskoromny I can't read or write as I'll be driving. At least not until Tesla FSD comes to England 🙂 I like listening to podcasts, I find them engaging and they don't make me sleepy 👍

@paul_richardson I didn't realize you were driving for 2 hours; I assumed you were on a bus or train. In that case, listening is totally fine! Phone calls can be distracting; I had a minor car accident once while talking on the phone.

Listening for two hours can make you miss your stop if you fall asleep, so it's better to read or watch a podcast! :)
