Product photography + High-Level design work possible?

On top of the dope branding work we'll be doing for our platform, we were also considering product photography as a part of the subscription. The way it would work is customers would send us whatever they want (up to a limit) and we would be doing solid product photography for them. The costs of shipping would be estimated prior to starting the subscription and we would factor it into the initial payment. I want to know if anyone has done product photography before with clients outside of their local area and whether you had tips for success. Cheers guys

The combination of product photography and high-level design work opens up endless creative possibilities, allowing you to create eye-catching visuals that make a lasting impression on your audience and drive engagement.

Very interesting idea... I think the challenging part would be logistics (shipping, putting together a product, and shipping it back) and liability in case something happens to the item while on the photoshoot. If you can figure this part out, I think that might be a really good value added to your business. As an example, I think you should read how tech bloggers are working with agencies/tech companies sending them products for review.

With the right creative approach, high-level design work is indeed possible in product photography, adding a dynamic and visually compelling perspective to product storytelling and branding.

I think this idea is very good, but its cost will skyrocket. Have you continued to implement this idea recently? Any further questions,

Hi Yohan, What types of clients you are initially targeting. I have an Etsy shop and have sold ceramics, tea towels, and greeting cards on it. Having great photography is key, so this is a valuable service. I could see sending out tea towels and greeting cards for photography, but ceramics would be challenging.

Absolutely! Combining product photography with high-level design work is not only possible but also a fantastic way to create visually stunning and effective marketing materials. When you blend the artistry of photography with the creativity of design, you can showcase your products in the most appealing and eye-catching manner. This approach ensures that your products not only look their best but also convey a clear message to your target audience. So, whether you want to capture the essence of your products or create captivating advertisements, this combination is the way to go. It's an exciting journey that allows you to unleash your creative potential and produce compelling visuals for your brand.

Idea sounds good, but idk what product we are talking to, if you want to ship let's say bikes to another country just for photos, transportation and storage price will kill you for sure. Theare also two different types of product photography, one with just white background and the second with building scenography set. i thinku you should go with second one, so client could see more value in hirigng you / using your product

Fortunately, there are now quite a few cool services that are ready to take your high-quality product photography. A company is not just a brand, it is the philosophy of your style of working with clients. Painstaking and coordinated work of the entire team of professionals every day. The company is an authority, which means settling for less is spoiling your image. And this is where it is very important to use high-quality visual content in advertising campaigns.

Certainly! When offering product photography services to clients outside your local area, communication is key. Make sure to talk clearly about what they want and how they want it. Ask for examples of what they like so you can get it just right. Also, remind them to pack their products well for shipping to avoid any damage. If shipping internationally, be aware of any extra costs like customs fees. And don't forget, if traditional photography isn't an option, you can suggest CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) as an alternative. This way, you can create stunning images without needing to handle physical products. With good communication and attention to detail, you can provide top-notch product photography services no matter where your clients are located. Check out for CGI: https://welpix.ae/
