As we're approaching the long-awaited Golden Kitty Awards, I'm dropping here some of my favorite developer tools launched on Product Hunt in 2024: - Supabase - the open-source Firebase alternative went GA last April and had a *stellar* launch: #1 Product of the Day, #1 Product of the Week, #1 Product of the Month! - bolt.new - last year, Vercel's v0.dev was nominee, and I predict the alternative built by StackBlitz, #1 Product of the Day, #2 Product of the Week, and #9 Product of the Month, hit the list this year - Langfuse 2.0 - the open-source LLM engineering platform, best AI Infra Product of the Year in 2023, had another amazing launch this year: #1 Product of the Day, #8 Product of the Week. - Helicone AI - the open-source LLM observability platform had a great launch last August: #1 Product of the Day, #2 Product of the Week. - Tempo Labs - Discovered during the Mega Launch Week, this code-first Figma alternative kept momentum on Product Hunt last December: #1 Product of the Day, #3 Product of the Week. I could possibly think of more developer tools that ranked really well: Octomind (#1 Product of the Day), Pullpo (#2 Product of the Day), Inkeep (#3 Product of the Day), Corbado (#4 Product of the Day), MotherDuck (#5 Product of the Day)... How about you? What are your predictions for this 2025 GKA edition? Edit 2025-01-20: Product Hunt just unveiled a list of 20 dev-first products nominated for the Golden Kitty Award 2024 in the “Developer Tools” category!

Thanks for the mention @fmerian! Really love this community of builders that means so much for us at Langfuse. Last year we launched Langfuse 2.0 but also a completely rearchitected backend which was really important for the long-term scalability and maturity of the product. 2023 is half over and MotherDuck is already a game-changer for data folks. I expect Claude to make serious waves for devs by 2024. Anthropic seems to have an edge over OpenAI lately.

Hey there! For 2024, I think AI-powered IDEs will be huge. Tools like GitHub Copilot are getting smarter and more intuitive. Cloud-based dev environments will also gain traction - they're so convenient for remote work. And don't forget about low-code platforms; they're making development accessible to more people. Just my two cents!
