🚀 Day 8 of my journey building an AI-powered browser extension!
Here's what I accomplished today:
✅ Deployed the database on #MongoDB #Atlas and connected it to #GoogleAppEngine!
✅ Set up cron jobs for user management.
Excited to leverage the MongoDB Atlas free tier (512 MB) — it’s more than enough for now! 💪✨

🚀 Day 9:
✅ Implementing keyboard shortcuts for those who prefer not to click to open the context menu.
The shortcuts are Alt+Shift+P and Alt+Shift+I; you can start memorizing them. 🙂 It seems that’s it regarding the core functionality; what remains is the landing page and integration with a payment processor.
Launching soon!
@viktorbresan thanks for the format, cheers!
T-minus Day 3 until I fully launch a browser game 🚀
Here's what I accomplished in the past six months:
(preface: I haven't built anything since 2006. Once I became a self-made retiree, I started out my game dev journey with unity and realized I was out of touch with coding. I remember hearing a quote about most RPG's being glorified spreadsheets, so I ran with that idea once I discovered Google App Script ("G.A.S.").
✅ Deployed a farming sim on G.A.S.
✅ Integrated with website and added single session logins.
✅ Coming out of beta on Friday, Dec 27, 2024
TBH I know this is one of those situations where one man's trash is his alone and no one's treasure but I'm happy with my results and I guess this can count as my mvp.

@crappyfarm I don't play games at all, but using GAS for game development sounds interesting to me, and I would love to farm some weed when you are ready.
