Not being in the featured list is unfair

We just had our Product Hunt launch, and this is my second go at it. The last time, we pulled in a good amount of traffic, even snagging the 7th spot. But this time? Nowhere to be found on the homepage. It's tough for anyone to stumble upon our product, and we've only seen about 20 users from Product Hunt. There is very little clarity on how products get on the featured list. I hope PH works towards resolving it.
