I just launched by first product after making it myself for a few months - https://www.producthunt.com/posts/hexacademy-io I pretty much have no clue about marketing, sales or advertising. Any advice much appreciated, and I'd be grateful for feedback on my product. Thanks!

I'm trying to figure it out myself. My personal opinion is that marketing very much part art and science. There's no one right way to do it and they could all yield various levels of success. People will have all kinds of opinions, but I think the most important thing is just to keep trying things and see what works. It's frustrating to put work into marketing when there may not be any results, but it seems like it's the only way.

I'm quite the same, but my advice would be to study all that or find a co-founder to cover that. It's super important, sometimes even more than a decent product (sad but true)

Here's some tips: - I would post more on product hunt to build up more followers before launching. Followers get alerted when you launch so you're increasing the number of eyeballs on your product. - Put more content in your post. I would recommend at least 2 images and a video. - Put your social media links in your bio These are more product hunt tips than general marketing tips, but I think they should serve you well!

upvoted it! For marketing and sales part, you may 1- go to some developers/coder communities to promote; 2- start a ytb channel for courses and redirect to your site 3- if the budget allowed, ads
