    New Chrome shopping extension for saving money when buying direct from brands

    How useful would this be to brands and consumers? What would it take to get those shopping on Amazon to buy direct from a brand instead? https://www.producthunt.com/upcoming/crumb-2

    This is a good idea, are there any policies from Amazon that would prevent brands from being able to use your tool? Also, confirming - the prices on both Amazon and brand website are the same, correct? The brand just makes more because they give away less of a cut to Amazon - and would share the savings with the customer via your tool.

    @gmak we've researched many extensions that are able to create a UI layer on top of Amazon since Chrome is the OS. Have not seen it blocked successfully yet That's right on the 2nd point. Brands don't pay cut to Amazon and instead can provide customer savings when buying direct
