Networking Events

I saw someone created a networking event called “No Office Christmas Party” and invited anyone that didn’t have an office to go to a party (self employed, not employed, working remote). Thought it was a smart and fun way to get like-minded people together.

I'm always trying to frame networking events as friendly parties and steer those towards them. That way, it feels much more like just hanging out with cool folks rather than seeking business connections.
