@niko_dovidija bootstrapping in a nutshell :')
LiveDemo
"Do you understand what the product is?" - Yes the right image in the hero section does a good job of explaining the product
"What do you think of the slogan (the headline in the hero section)?" - I don't like the word "simplest", probably a better way would be "best" but otherwise is great.
"What do you think of the visuals and messaging?" - Great
@gapostolov Thanks, George! We appreciate you taking the time to leave your feedback! Your suggestion has been noted π
@gapostolov Amazing George, thanks so much π π

I actually really like it, but I might be a bit biased because I have this problem all the time. π
@sandra_idjoski Or maybe your are that more relevant π Looking forward to hearing your thoughts later on in the process π Thanks Sandra!
@sandra_idjoski Awesome! So target audience reached I guess. π
Thanks for sharing your feedback, Sandra!
yes we understand it, and I love the name. Mrs. Andrea Todorova Mr. Niko Dovidija You did a wonderful job, the scroll is a little long, but not that's not too bad to fix. I love the slogan Sounds great, We have to promote the name Unidate for higher ranking in search. I'll work on it and see what I can do to bring it up in search results. More traffic. this is where the Unidate stands in a search right now Results (187,000)
I'll get started on it, and give you feedback in a few days. It's not a lot of time but it's enough to let us know if it's scalable in search. I love it.
Nice thought and much useful when communicating across time zones.π
@satish_kumar_veluri There still seems to be still much confusion and error so that was one of our main drivers for the project π Thanks Satish!
@niko_dovidija Keep it going, such thoughts really matterπ
@satish_kumar_veluri thanks, Satish! β¨
I always say that those who ask for their LP to be roasted must be very strong individuals π
@matilda_todorova We drink coffee with tears in the mornin' π₯²
First of all apologies if this sounds rude or if I am pointing out too many non issues.
1. In the first screen itself you have two places to register, the one at top of the screen takes you to the very bottom of the page.
2.The other, on the bottom of the screen lets you register right there.
3. But if you use this, you miss out on the fact that you may win $25 Amazon voucher!
4. On the same screen in two places it says "Chrome extension (coming soon)" and "Free chrome extension coming soon." Raises a question: Are there going to be two chrome extensions, one of which is free.
5. You have used the screenshot on the above the fold screen later also. Maybe a different screenshot will give more info to the potential user.
6. The screenshot shows you composing email. does your software work on received email also? That is an equally compelling use case.
7. The screenshot on the right says "Monday 9 Am PST" My experience is that most email does not mention timezone. The sender assumes that you know their time zone. If time zone is not explicitly mentioned on received email, can your system figure it out (say from mail headers)?
8. It says "Simplest way to convert time in Gmail" And says "chrome extension. So, is it a chrome extension that will work only in gmail? Or will something now work in Gmail, but the upcoming chrome extension will work on any text in any page? Will it work on non gmail email? Will it work on non email text on we pages? Not clear
9. The video in the third screen shows one static screen, Perhaps you can instead show how easy it is to convert time with your tool? That would be more compelling, I think.
10. When I scroll down to the seventh screen, there is mention of the unidate app. So far I was thinking that this is a chrome extension!
11. The uses cases in the 8/9 th screen, can they move up. Likely to get lost otherwise.
12. the 10th screen tells me in small print inside a convo bubble that it is free (not sure app or extension). I think it is completely lost here. It should be right on the first screen.
13. The next screen says join a community and make friends. Some details or hints would be useful. There are communities one would love to join. Similarly there are communities one would stay away from. So even a hint - community of power gmail users - will be helpful and could be a draw.
14. Since you are getting into people's emails and meeting details, it would be good to mention what details you collect and what are your privacy policies, particularly GDPR compliance, if you want to attract corporate users.
15. Finally, my general crib with all landing pages: No indication of when you will launch. Next month? Next year?
Once again, apologies if this is not what you were looking for
This does solve a real problem , nice one π
@chetan_natesh thank you, Chetan!

This one is hard to roast! Honestly, your product is going to be very useful for us since we engage in activities that demand to connect with people from different time zones. Really looking forward to it.
Also, here is our landing page, feel free to review the same and subscribe if you like it. π - https://www.producthunt.com/upco...
@alessandro_canella Thanks Alessandro π you don't hear that too often! Subbed and will take a look at the LP later. First fast glance didn't bring up anything to point out tho so π
@alessandro_canella Alessandro, thanks for the kind words. We appreciate your feedback!
I like your idea so I subscribed as well! Good luck βοΈ

@niko_dovidija Sure, thank you so much π

Nice idea! Always a headache to know the timezone we are working with.
From quickly looking into your site (without reading all), my first question would be:
"Is it only available for Gmail conversion right now? Will the coming soon extension works everywhere?"
The last time I faced this issue was at 12am01 PST, what time is that exactly?
Wait, its the start of PH launch day reset, we are live today :)-> RepliQ
Appreciate feedback or support !
@edgar_neau We feel the same Edgar π Thanks for your feedback! First it will probably be Gmail, but we are also working to be more platform agnostic since we don't want to limit existing workflows π Congrats on the launch btw! π Your idea looks really cool, love personalisation, especially with videos π€© Are the videos hosted on your end?
@edgar_neau Thank you for your feedback, Edgar. Just like Niko said, we have to start somewhere and that will be Gmail, then we'll see based on user feedback.
Congrats on your launch! π
RepliQ
@niko_dovidija Awesome, good luck then! I will be sure to check your futures PH launch!
Are the videos hosted on your end? -> Yes and no. We have come up with a clever way to handle this. We do not want thousands of videos polluting server storage. So videos donβt exist unless they are needed to be watched.

i like it! simple, i understand what the product is
feedback:
- great slogan, super simple, makes sense
- too long of a scroll, i think info could be condensed or less gaps
- visuals are good, the process visual might be adding to the too long of a scroll issue tho
I love this simple idea. I search for shitty websites on Google for time conversion, and I catch myself using 3 different tools because they all suck.
However, I almost never use gmail when I need this. Either my own mail app, or messages on platforms such as Linkedin or Twitter. An extension would make more sense for me.
@niko_dovidija No problem! Good luck with the product :D
@thomasvarekamp Very good point there, it's really crucial for us to hear about peoples experience with existing tools. We have been using the existing tools (Google, WorldTimeBuddy, TImeAndDate, etc.) on a daily as well and each seems to be lacking a core feature from the other π
Choosing the right platform for delivery is definitely a thing we are working on, so we can get Unidate in to the hands of as many users as possible and be platform agnostic.
Really appreciate your thoughts Thomas π π
@thomasvarekamp Thomas, thanks a lot for your feedback! Your usecase has been noted, we'll revise and think about the next steps to make it available for more platforms and not just Gmail. β¨
