Need suggestions for a NEWBIE maker

Hello hunters, I've been working on a side project for the last couple of months and I'm thinking of a launch as a product on the PH. The thing is I'm not very active in the community and I don't have many engagements on Twitter or LinkedIn so to say. I have read the basic community guidelines in order to launch and some other relevant articles. But I'm not feeling very much confident with that. Although, I don't have any high expectations like the product of the day or product of the month. I just wanted to solve a specific problem, that'll help others. But if the product remains out of the reach, the problem won't solve eventually. For that, should I consult some renowned hunters to hunt my product? The PH community encourages the Makers to hunt their own products though. In that case, shall I go ahead and hunt the product myself? I know, the message got too lengthy. It'd be great to have some suggestions and tips which will help me and others like me. Thanks anyway for reading through. I appreciate any suggestions.

Don't see Producthunt as the only shot for successful entrepreneurship. If you can reframe the launch as MVP testing, you can 'eliminate' the anxiety. Just launch. If you want to ask a hunter, do it. To become product of the day or week, you need a marketing strategy, since you have said that is a 'side project', you have nothing to lose and everything to gain. If the goal is monetization, then read some blogposts, or ask someone with experience on LinkedIn.

If you really care about that project and its "fail" could demoralize you in pursuing it, I would really suggest you spend a weekend on creating any project and launching it on Product Hunt. I mean look at this. I've made a product for a day, launched it and did everything wrong 😂 The biggest mistake was me not understanding how dates work in different time zones so my product spent most of the day without any relevant images and descriptions 😅 I've leant a ton. The next one was #4 Product of the Day, and somehow we made even more mistakes 😂 Leant a ton. Just create something someone might find interesting, launch it, and start learning. Just please keep making 🚀 build ➜ launch ➜ learn ➜ repeat PS: I really won't mind you pushing a reply to this comment after a launch to notify me to support you there 😊
