Getting a freelancer for building MVP is a daunting task, So I use a Micro community based approach for this which also helps me to carry out multiple task for future aspect. Let me explain a bit: I Don't hire freelancers from beginning, First i focus on building a small prototype (a version smaller than MVP) Then I focus on building a Micro community which has 3 categories the first is Reviewers, these are the one that will give feedback on my product, the second category is on marketers, these people will use the porotype and will help me to find possible upselling features and the Final category is developers where I will ask for reviews based on features and functionality, and I would ask them one questions: If you were to develop this prototype how would you make this product much better than me? If the developer answers the question which matches my vision, thinking and ideology then I would reach out to them to build the MVP with me.

Well, it really depends on what you mean by MVP and which tech stack you're planning to use. For instance, I always try to start with no-code since it's cheaper and faster, so I'd definitely go to different no-code communities like https://makerpad.zapier.com/. If you're not sure about your tech stack, try asking ChatGPT about it. I tried to ask it to pick up no-code tools for a couple of my pet projects and it works quite good.
