I have used Macs since 2004 but I always had a thing for Linux and when my last MacBook got old and I needed a replacement I finally made the jump to PC again. I'll say: I couldn't be happier! There's a couple of rough edges here and there regarding app availability but for me it's perfect. I'm loving having many ports available, I'm loving being able to open my Thinkpad 180 degrees. I love tinkering with the desktop sometimes and the new way to update the OS that atomic distributions brought to the table! I'm using a Fedora variant (Bazzite) with KDE as my desktop environment. It is a breath of fresh air, specially if you like to costumise your environment and not just visually, but functionally. Did you make the switch? In which direction? Tell your story!
