This compares the degree to which decision-making authority is concentrated at the top of the organizational hierarchy (centralization) versus distributed across various levels or locations (decentralization).
just like a government or institution which is more effective at scale?

Decentralization allows for more local input and can be more responsive to specific needs.

Definitely think a decentralized model scales better for large orgs. Centralized authority becomes a bottleneck. Empowering folks at lower levels to make decisions based on local context is clutch. That autonomy boosts agility and innovation. Ofc some level of central vision & alignment is still key tho.
I prefer decentralization because it gives everyone more freedom and responsibility. This can lead to greater creativity and faster innovation.
Centralization works better for me because it ensures consistent decision-making across the board, which is essential for maintaining a unified direction.
I think decentralization can be more effective at scale because it allows decisions to be made closer to where the action is happening. What do you think?
