Hey, are you looking for a technical co-founder? I have 5 years of full-stack web development experience including mobile development utilizing React Native. I haven't but I'd imagine I could also build desktop applications as well. I've worked at companies with as many as 45,000+ employees and I've worked at companies with as few as 12 employees. I much prefer the 12! By day I work as a Senior Software Engineer, and by night I tinker around in hopes to build something that will be useful to myself and others one day. I have the time and the skills to develop something but lack the steam to also handle the whole business side. To be frank it's rough being the business team, product manager, and developer which is why I'm looking for someone who is business savvy and has a concrete idea but lacks the technical skills. Things that I'm not interested in working on are Video Games although I do love playing them, anything AI-related, and building social network platforms. Ideally, I'd like to build some sort of SaaS. I'm not looking to build the next Twitter, Netflix, Google, etc. Nor am I looking to shake up the industry or turn it on its head which seems to be the buzzwords/catchphrases for startups, HYPERGROWTH eeek lol. I'd like to bootstrap the business if possible. It's such a hassle to raise money, I've personally seen it firsthand, and I'd like to avoid it at all costs. “Lots of businesses could be great $10 million, $20 million businesses, but they’re not allowed to be once VCs are involved. They’ve got to be $200 million or $500 million or a billion. When you take VC money, what is the point of being an entrepreneur, you’re working for someone else again, instantly.” - Jason Fried, paraphrased by me. I like the basecamp model although I may not agree with all their antics. I'm looking to build a lifestyle business and or a small company with a like-minded business co-founder. I'm looking to work with people in the US as I am here as well. It's also easier legally for both parties if the business eventually makes it that far. If you have an idea and think we align on the business expectations feel free to add me on discord. Doobie#2105 Thanks for reading, have a good day y'all!
