LinkedIn vs Twitter? What works best for your business?

I have been using LinkedIn for 3 years (26K followers). This year, I started using Twitter (2K followers). All inbound. What works best depends on your product and your audience. LinkedIn is the best for B2B. Twitter is the best for building in public B2C, and it works for cheap B2B, too. For my service business (I help tech startups with growth and marketing), LinkedIn works better. But my clients like that I use Twitter, too. For selling digital products, both platforms work well. Share your experience, please :) If we're not connected: My LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/olen... My Twitter: https://twitter.com/olenabomko

Long story short: LinkedIn users have got pitch blindness recently. Twitter is less used for sales pitches (until now). The LinkedIn audience may convert in the long run, though

Both are good, but I personally prefer LinkedIn.

Very impressive following Olena! What are your thoughts on LinkedIn Premium?
Olena Bomko
@iskandarchacra Depends on how you use LinkedIn. I've never used LinkedIn Premium. The only limitation I noticed is I can't see the list of employees after I reach the limits. But I'm okay with this.

im launching a blockchain powered loyalty app soon, so we will be pushing the product to the crypto/web3 crowd on twitter, cause this is where they are hanging out, and will also be pushing it to the linkedin people as well as we have been very careful with removing the friction from using a blocckhain consumer app so regular businesses can enjoy the tool and get a familiar user experience

I've been using Linkedin only, and I am thinking about implementing twitter also.

Just Connected on Twitter Ole, I've observed numerous CEOs of small apps achieve remarkable success with their X journey. Personally, I'm making a concerted effort to follow a similar path, but I must admit that it can be quite challenging at times. Nevertheless, I firmly believe that by pursuing your passion and staying persistent, you can ultimately achieve your goals.

26K followers on LinkedIn is impressive! Any secret sauce for growing your network there?

Thanks for sharing your insights! I only use LinkedIn (13k followers) and don't have a Twitter account. I found somewhat easy to build a community in LinkedIn, people are more naturally open to networking. Also, I enjoy the fact that in LinkedIn you don't need to publishing content everyday to stay relevant to its algorithm. I only released the pre launch of my product through one LinkedIn post and got over 7.5k people in my mailing list in less than 3 weeks. Overall, I've been pretty satisfied with LinkedIn. I'm thinking of starting a blog and investing in SEO before going to any other social media. My profile: /julia-chacur I've sign up to receive notifications about your product :)
